The room is comfy and tidy and also close to Broadway and shopping
-
Close to Chinatown, not really far from train station
-
Room was small but very clean, air conditioning worked great, also convenient to transportation.
-
Staff were friendly, provided the best map of the city, and internet access
Rooms very small but adequate, carpet was worn and stained, proximity to subway although handy in the daylight hours was noisy at night ie room 'shook',
-
Great location, clean rooms
Unhelpful staff - friendly, but didn't help with our issues. Safety box was locked and after third promise to open the box, we just stopped asking. Our friends had the same problem – for them the answer was: "the previous guest probably has the backup key". Also, the hotel did credit card authorization/hold twice for the whole amount, thus maxing out my credit card. When I demanded they do something, they denied everything and did nothing. My bank confirmed the hotel's error.

Great staff and location.
Tiny room, even by nyc standards. My reservation was for a room with 2 twin beds but when I checked in they only had a queen room available. Very tight quarters for 2 friends travelling together.
-
It was where I wanted it to be and the most affordable option.
Weird smell in the elevator. They did not restock my coffee maker in the room when they cleaned up.
-
The bed was very comfortable, but the room was a little small.
-
The location is really good: in the middle of Manhattan, close to the subway and within walking distance to the downtown. Decent internet connection.
The floors in the room and the bathroom could have been cleaner, but otherwise OK.
-
Location great, poised between Lower East Side, Soho, Tribeca and West Village. King-sized bed the best. Close to great restaurants on Lafayette.
Elevator a bit musty.
-
Convenient location, use of a coffee machine in the room and a comfortable bed.
Although there was no tv remote in the room when we arrived, the front desk staff soon had a replacement. Most members of staff were friendly and helpful, it's a shame that one lady found it hard to be pleasant.
-
Close to SoHo where our meeting was located.
Rooms very small and not in the best condition.
-
The room was very clean and the service was excellent. My girlfriend was scared of potential bed bugs in NYC and this was definitely bed bugs free and very clean. Every single person of the staff I talked to was extremely nice, polite, and helpful.
The room is small but that is to be expected for NYC.
-
Even though the room us extra small but it was clean with comfortabke bed. When we arroved, it was much earlier than the check in time but the Alice, at the front desk made an effort looking for available room and we managed to check in early. The location is quite strategic as it close to Chonatown and Little Italy. It was only 20 min walk to ground zero.

Staff moderately helpful Noisy intersection and windows not proofed
